A section of the A66 and the A6 in Penrith are closed after a vehicle shed its load.
The incident happened on Bridge Lane in Penrith at around 12.45pm today, Tuesday October 7.
The A6 is closed in both directions from Kemplay Bank roundabout to Tynefield Drive.
The A66 has been affected by spilled oil.
It is closed eastbound from the M6 Junction 40 to the B6542 at Appleby.
