A Carlisle road will be closed overnight for resurfacing.
Connect Roads is working on the A689 between Junction 44 and Carlisle Airport.
The road will be closed from 7pm to 6am and a clearly signed diversion is in place.
The three nights of work started yesterday, October 9 and is due to finish at 6am on Sunday, October 12.
Safety personnel will be on-site to assist residents and businesses. Emergency vehicles, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists will always have access.
Please allow extra travel time and follow diversion signs.
