Penrith’s Middlegate is currently closed for urgent repairs.
It is closed from Burrowgate to the Musgrave Monument for urgent sign removal, installation and repairs of the footway.
It is scheduled to be closed today, Wednesday, October 15, until 4pm.
Drivers are being diverted via Burrowgate, Friargate, Benson Row and Roper Street.
