A road in a north Cumbrian village will be closed for six weeks for repairs to be carried out on a retaining wall.
Cumberland Council said it will start work on the Sandy Lane South wall in Great Corby, near Carlisle, from Monday, October 20.
The road will be closed from 9am and 2.45pm Monday to Friday.
A signed diversion will be in place for vehicles under 12ft 6in (3.8 metres).
Vehicles over that height and needing access will be escorted through the closure from the west side of Sandy Lane.
A route will be maintained for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists for the duration of the works.
