Four Cumbrians can look forward to trip to Las Vegas in the new year.
The quartet have been selected for a Scotland squad who will play the US Hawks in February.
Max Anderson Moore, now with Whitehaven, after first turning pro with Workington Town, is joined by Connor Terrell of the Millom amateur club; Brett Carter of Barrow Raiders and Joe Kirkup, ex-Workington currently playing for Penrith rugby union club.
Coach Adam Houston has selected the squad of 18 which contains a mix of youth and experience, with a blend of players from the domestic competition and SRL pathways complementing a number from the professional or semi-professional game.
The squad will get together over the coming months as they build towards the game in the USA, with preparations likely to feature a fixture early to mid January.
