The popular Forty Farms Fair will return to Rheged next month.
It will be held at the venue, near Penrith, from 10am to 3pm on Saturday November 15.
Visitors will be able to browse more than 40 indoor and outdoor stalls each showcasing seasonal local produce, artisan foods, handmade crafts and gifts.
Stalls will include a variety of Cumbrian producers including Bean & Dunne, Lovingly Artisan, Gan Yam Brewery, Ginger Bakers, Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese Co, The Torpenhow Cheese Company, Pennington’s Spirits & Liqueurs, Piperhole Goat Farm, My Gourmet Mushrooms, Deer and Dexter and Black Horse Farm Flowers.
And people can enjoy a series of free talks in Screen 2 of Rheged’s Cinema, offering insights into local food, farming and culture from the likes of Lynn Barnes, of Vista Veg, author Dave Felton, The Ethical Dairy and Jo Sheehan from Nature Recovery Programme, Cumbria Connect.
Forty Farms Fair, in partnership with Kendal Farmers Market, is a celebration of the people, produce, and stories that make Cumbria unique.
