
Five people have been arrested at an incident at a Cumbrian holiday park.
Police and other emergency services were called to Solway Holiday Village in Silloth at around 3.25am today.
There was a report of an ongoing assault involving multiple people at the location.
Cumbria police said officers attended and five men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
A number of people were injured and are being treated by medical professionals. Injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Armed officers were deployed as part of the response due to the initial report.
There is no ongoing threat to public safety.
Enquiries are ongoing at the scene and residents in the surrounding area may see a larger than normal police presence while this continues throughout the day.
