Workington Comets popular reserve Vinnie Foord will take part in the final meeting of the speedway season tonight.

Foord will be tiding for Kent in what is a double header staged by Leicester.

The curtain comes down on the season with two Development League matches at the Hydroscand Arena, Beaumont Park.

The meeting was scheduled for last night but was put back by 24 hours due to inclement weather.

The opening match sees Leicester face Belle Vue in the WSRA NDL, where a home win will see the Lion Cubs finish runners-up in the table.

That match is followed by Leicester against Kent in the National Development Trophy, which will decide second place in that competition with the visitors currently holding that spot.

  • LEICESTER: Cooper Rushen, Ryan Ingram, Max Perry R/R, Charlie Southwick, Ben Trigger, Seth Norman, Eli Meadows.
  • BELLE VUE: Will Cairns, Jack Shimelt, Jack Kingston R/R, Dylan Huthwaite, Freddy Hodder, Harry Fletcher, Billy Budd.
  • LEICESTER: Will Cairns, Ryan Ingram, Bailey Fellows, Ryan Ashcroft, Freddy Hodder, Harry Fletcher, Seth Norman.
  • KENT: Vinnie Foord, Jacob Clouting, Connor Coles, Dylan Huthwaite, Ben Morley, Nathan Hargrave, Charlie Wood.
