One person is guaranteed to win a Lake District home worth £4.5m – plus £250,000 in cash – as part of a new prize draw raising funds for the RSPCA.
The winner of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw will get the keys to a five-bedroom, five-bathroom countryside retreat complete with its own private lake, jetty and outdoor sauna – all set in over three acres of grounds between Windermere and Kendal.
The house comes mortgage-free, with all stamp duty, legal fees covered and over £150,000-worth of furnishings.
The winner will also receive £250,000 in cash to help them settle in – and can choose to either live in the house, rent it out for supplementary income, or sell up to become a cash multi-millionaire.
If the winner decides to keep the property, the £250,000 would enable them to run the house for many years.
If they choose to rent it out, local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long-term rental value of around £4,000 per month.

A woodland driveway leads to the tranquil property, which opens into a striking double-height entrance hall with a floating staircase and slate-clad feature walls.
The main living space is open-plan and filled with natural light, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a reading nook, banquet-style dining area and panoramic views of the lake and surrounding countryside.
The designer kitchen includes handcrafted Swedish cabinetry, a bespoke breakfast nook, walk-in pantry and Miele appliances throughout.
Three sets of French doors lead out to a spacious covered patio area, ideal for entertaining and al fresco dining.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a freestanding bath overlooking the lake and forest beyond – alongside an en suite bathroom and dressing area.
Four further double, en suite bedrooms provide plenty of space for family and friends.
One of the property’s standout features is its very own private lake.

A wooden jetty extends across the water, where a serene lakeside wellness area includes a wood-lined sauna, hot tub and outdoor shower – ideal for winter stargazing or summer dips.
The property also comes complete with a gym, utility and boot room, electric car charger, solar panels and garages.
Located just outside the village of Crook, the house offers the perfect base to explore the Lake District National Park, with Windermere, Kendal and the M6 all within easy reach.
As well as making its grand prize winner a multi-millionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Lake District, will raise money to support the RSPCA.
This is Omaze’s third partnership with the RSPCA – the UK’s leading animal welfare charity, helping animals in need for over 200 years – who will receive a guaranteed donation of £1,000,000 from the Omaze Community.

The campaign is supported by actor and RSPCA Supporter Asa Butterfield.
Asa said: “Those who know me – know I’ve always been Team Cat. But when it comes to helping animals, I’ll be a voice for them all! I’ve seen the incredible work the RSPCA does, tirelessly rehabilitating thousands of animals rescued from unimaginable cruelty and neglect. It can take life-saving surgery, months of medical care, therapy, and endless kindness and love until they can trust again.
“The RSPCA is needed now, more than ever. Every entry into the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, the Lake District, will help to fund over 38,000 days of care for rescued animals, giving them a second chance at the happiness they deserve.”
James Oakes, president of Omaze of Omaze, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the RSPCA once again for our latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw. This Lake District retreat is a truly special property in one of the most spectacular parts of the country.
“The eventual winner is free to choose if they want to move in, rent it out, or sell up and walk away a multi-millionaire – the life changing choice is entirely theirs.
“Omaze gives people the chance to win life-changing prizes, while also raising significant funds for incredible causes. Thanks to the generosity of the Omaze community, we’ve now raised over £100 million for good causes across the UK.”
Separately, Omaze is now pledging over £40 million a year for UK charities through a series of independent philanthropic grants – helping to deliver long-term impact for good causes across the country.
