
A road closure will be in place in a north Cumbrian village next week for five days.
Work is due to start in Cumwhinton, near Carlisle, on Mondat November 24.
Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing and bridge work between Thornedge and Beck Bridge.
The work is expected to last five days, subject to weather and site conditions.
Working hours will be from 8am to 4pm daily and traffic management measures will remain in place throughout the duration of the work.
Outside of working hours, vehicle movements will be limited to residential access only. Minor delays may occur, but waste collections will not be affected.
During working hours, vehicle access to properties will not be available, and a diversion route will be in place.
