An investigation has been launched after reports that a child was assaulted in Penrith.
Cumbria police said officers were aware of the incident on Saturday November 22, and has secured footage for evidence surrounding it.
The town was holding Penrith Sparkle on Saturday, its Christmas lights switch-on event.
