Cleator Moor Celtic’s fine unbeaten ruin in the West Lancashire League ended at third-in-the-table Loctock St Gerard’s.
It finished 5-0 and Celtic were offering no excuses. Although they did travel without one or two key players.
The Preston side had been impressive when they won 4-0 at Cleator Moor earlier in the season and they looked just as good in the return.
Celtic were competitive in the first-half but went in 2-0 behind after their hosts scored through Josh Sarda (6) and Dale Bury (38).
Lostock dominated the second-half and scored three further goals to run out convincing winners.
Ryan Fletcher made it 3-0 after 54 minutes and then Bury with a strike on 66 minutes and a penalty on 77 minutes completed his hat-trick.
You can hear below what Gareth Agnew, the Celtic manager, thought of the game:
Millom and Whitehaven both had their matches postponed.
