Carlisle United boss Mark Hughes has been nominated for the Enterprise National League Manager of the Month award for November.
The Blues had opened the month with a home win over FC Halifax Town, followed by a valuable three points earned away at promotion rivals Southend United.
A draw with Eastleigh at Brunton Park came next, before a last-gasp victory at Boston United and they Blues rounded-off the month with a home success against Tamworth.
Hughes’ three rivals for the award include Robbie Savage who was involved in an after-match claim that he was abused during a narrow defeat at Brunton Park in October.
Stuart Maynard, manager of fast-climbing York City and Chris Agutter, in charge of Sutton United are the other nominations.
Interestingly three of the managers have players nominated for Player of the Month – and Hughes is the odd one out.
The four players are Ollie Pearce – York City; Lewis Simper – Sutton United; Kyle McAllister – Forest Green Rovers; Chinwike Okoli – Woking.
Clubs will be informed of the winners by the end of the week – with a public announcement provisionally scheduled for next Tuesday.
