Kendal mayor Richard Sutton will host a winter warmer and Christmas fair on December 13.
Organised by Kendal Town Council, it will be held at the town hall between 10am and 3pm.
It will include a coffee morning with festive entertainment, including a performance by Kendal Concert Band and stalls offering the chance to buy Christmas gifts and crafts and find out information about local charities.
There will be a small entrance fee – which will get visitors a drink and mince pie at the coffee morning and all funds raised will go towards the mayor’s charities.
This year, Cllr Sutton is supporting LifeSteps & Friends Club, Carers Support South Lakes and Sight Advice.
Cllr Sutton says: “Please join us for a morning of festive fun and Christmas cheer and help us to raise awareness and funds for three incredible local charities.”
Anyone interested in having a stall at the event, there are still spaces available. Contact [email protected] for further information.
