
A man was significantly injured after an assault outside an Ulverston pub.
The incident happened on Saturday, November 29, outside The Kings Head, on Queen Street, between 8pm and 9pm.
The victim, a local man, was punched in the face a number of times causing significant injuries, including a broken nose and fractured cheekbone.
A man in his 20s was arrested and subsequently bailed while police continue their enquiries.
Cumbria police said: “We are eager to speak to any witnesses to this incident, it happened on a busy road immediately outside the pub.
“The area was busy on this evening due to the Dickensian Festival.”
One of the men was wearing distinctive clothing of grey joggers and a grey jacket with a bright blue jacket underneath with a blue hood.
