A man has been seriously injured after an altercation between Barrow AFC fans in Wigan.
Greater Manchester Police said the fans were fighting outside a convenience store next to Wigan Northwestern Railway Station on Saturday, following the FA Cup game.
The force said: “As a result of the altercation, a man is in hospital with serious injuries consistent with being punched, including fractures to his face and skull.
“He remains in a stable condition.”
