A Carlisle man has been banned from a city’s B&M store and Tesco supermarket for two years.
Gary Wilson, 49, has had a criminal behaviour order issued against him after he stole alcohol from the B&M store on Scotch Street on October 21.
Carlisle Neighbourhood Policing team secured the order at the city’s magistrates court.
The conditions, which are in force for two years, mean Wilson cannot:
- Be in possession of an open container of alcohol in a public place, unless inside a licensed venue within Carlisle city centre
- Enter B&M in Scotch Street
- Enter a Tesco store
Anyone who witnesses Wilson breaching the terms of his order should contact the police.
The penalty for breaking the terms of an order can be up to five years in prison.
