
Four men from Yorkshire are set to appear in court in connection with a burglary in South Cumbria.
A house was broken into in Collin Close, Kendal, at around 2.30am on Friday and a car stolen.
Cumbria police said its officers worked with North Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire colleagues and stopped a vehicle in Skipton.
It resulted in the arrest of four men.
Dominic Griffiths, 37, of Barham Terrace, Bradford, Kieran Holmes, 20, of Sandfield Road, Bradford and Cian Doherty, 19, of Fairhaven Green, Bradford were all charged with burglary.
Jack Alstead, 19, of West Royd Drive, Shipley, was charged with burglary and possession of a class B drug.
All four men were denied police bail and are to appear at Barrow Magistrates’ Court today, Monday December 15.
