
Emergency services were called to a collision in Carlisle last night.
A pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a bus on St Nicholas Street on Friday December 19.
St Nicholas Street was closed between Botchergate and St Nicholas Bridge following the incident.
Police were called at around 8pm and the road was closed while emergency services, including two ambulances and the Great North Air Ambulance Critical Care Team, attended.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to the city’s Cumberland Infirmary.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
