Finalists for the Love Barrow Awards 2026 have been revealed.
Twenty-four finalists will find out if they have won at a ceremony on March 13 at the Abbey House Hotel, Barrow.
Now in their 20th year, The 20th year of the Awards saw nearly 700 nominations across the eight categories.
They were reviewed and judged by the Love Barrow Awards committee, selecting three finalists for each of the categories.
Chair of the Love Barrow Awards committee, DT Guest said: “We cannot recognise our community heroes without the support of the public, who have nominated amazing local individuals and groups who go that extra mile to support others.
“The awards night is a fantastic event, and would not be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and patrons, I would like to thank them for once again helping us to celebrate the humble heroes that make our locality lovely.”
The Love Barrow Community Awards committee now needs your support in selecting the winner of the People’s Choice Award 2026.
DT Guest said: “The People’s Choice Award is voted by the public from one of the amazing 24 finalists, and each story celebrates the strength of our community and the positive possibilities for the future. Each year the thousands of votes make the award very, very close! But the community always gets it right!”
Voting for this will open in mid-January, and the winner will be announced at the ceremony.
