A serious collision closed a West Cumbrian road yesterday.
Cumbria police said the incident happened on the A597 at High Harrington, near Workington in the early evening of Sunday December 21.
It is understood the collision happened outside the Brewery House.
The road was closed in both directions between The Hollins and Beckside.
Police said the the road would be closed for some time and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
The road reopened at around 11.40pm.
