West Cumbrian racer Dan Bewley has been named as Belle Vue’s first signing for the 2026 Premiership campaign.
The treble British Champion was a title-winner with the Aces in 2024 and will be back at the National Speedway Stadium for an eighth senior campaign, lining up with the only club he has represented in the top-flight.
There had been rumours the world number three was set for a change of scenery but the announcement came as great relief to the Belle Vue supporters.
It also means Bewley can again look forward to the double Grand Prix staging in Manchester next summer as a ‘home’ event on June 5 and 6, having won the venue’s first-ever GP this year.
He is the third of the world’s top eight riders to have been confirmed in next season’s Premiership with Jack Holder already back at Sheffield and Max Fricke making the move to King’s Lynn.
In a festive message to Aces fans, Bewley said: “I’ve just had a delivery from Santa, I’ve just had my Belle Vue 2026 contract!
“I’m looking forward to another year and I want to wish you a merry Christmas, happy new year and see you in the new season.”
