A flood alert is in place for Cumbria this morning.
The alert is for Upper River Derwent, Stonethwaite Beck and Derwentwater, today, January 13.
Rising river and lake levels this morning may lead to flooding.
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near the Upper Derwent from Seathwaite to Derwentwater.
People are urged to avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
