
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious Barrow assault last month.
Officers are investigating the incident on Cavendish Street, which happened on December 27 at 3am.
A 23-year-old man from Barrow was assaulted resulting in serious head injuries.
He was taken to hospital but has since been released.
Two men were arrested in connection with the assault – one aged 28 and one aged 23 – from Barrow.
Both were arrested on suspicion of GBH and subsequently released on bail.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
