A man has been arrested following the attempted robbery of a West Cumbrian betting shop.
Police were called to Coral on Senhouse Street in Maryport on Saturday January 17 at around 6.30pm.
It had been reported that a man had tried to rob the business.
Cumbria police said they arrested a man in his 30s, from the Manchester area, on suspicion of attempted robbery yesterday, Sunday January 18.
He remains in police custody.
