A north Cumbrian road will close for up to two weeks so resurfacing work can be carried out.
Cumberland Council will start work on the B5307 between Finglandrigg and Kirkbampton, near Carlisle, on Monday, February 2.
It is expected to last up to two weeks, subject to weather and site conditions, and will also include reconstruction of the pavement.
A full road closure will be in place and traffic marshals will be on site throughout to help residents access their properties where possible.
Refuse collections will continue where it is safe to do so.
Work will take place Monday to Friday, between 7.30am and 6pm.
Access will be maintained at all times for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists.
Residents with special access requirements, or anyone seeking further information, are encouraged to contact Cumberland Council’s Highways Department on 0300 373 3736, quoting the reference B5307 Finglandrigg to Kirkbampton – Carriageway Resurfacing Work.
