Two West Cumbrian roads will be closed to traffic as resurfacing work is carried out.
Work will start on the B5289 between Low Lorton and Whitbeck Bridge from Monday, February 9 to Friday February 13 by Cumberland Council.
Workers will then move to the C2030 between Brackenthwaite and Low Liza Bridge from Monday February 16 to Friday February 20.
The duration of the work is subject to weather and site conditions.
The road will be fully closed and no vehicular access will be permitted within the work areas during working hours of 7.30am to 7pm.
Access will be maintained at all times for emergency services, pedestrians, and dismounted cyclists. Resident access will be restricted during working hours but traffic marshals will be available to help where possible.
Refuse collections will continue where it is safe to do so.
