A woman in her 70s was injured after a robbery in Carlisle.
The incident took place yesterday, Monday February 2, at around 10.30am on Clift Street.
The woman in suffered face and hand injuries.
Reece Holmes, 25, of Longholme Road, Carlisle, has been charged with robbery, two counts of possession of a knife in a public place and possession of cannabis.
He is due to appear at Carlisle Magistrates Court today, Tuesday February 3.
