Two men have been arrested after a number of homes were visited by door-to-door salesmen with household items.
South Lakes Police said the men had been arrested on suspicion of several crimes including affray, assault and public order offences.
They are suspected of carrying out door-to-door sales in the Kendal, Staveley and Milnthorpe areas yesterday, Tuesday February 24.
