A Carlisle road will be closed for up to two weeks for urgent repair.
Cumberland Council said Scawfell Road will close from Monday, March 2 until Friday March 13.
Contractors will work from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday to carry out drainage repairs, following a recent survey.
A diversion route will be in place and no vehicles will be allowed to access properties during the crew’s working hours.
Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
