Carlisle’s BrewDog bar was one of 38 venues to be immediately closed as the firm went into administration.
The craft beer company’s brewing operations were bought by Tilray Brands in a £33 million deal, but joint administrators AlixPartners confirmed 38 bars across the UK would shut.
It said no offer was made which would have preserved BrewDog as an entire firm.
BrewDog was founded by James Watt and Martin Dickie in 2007. Watt left the firm in 2024 and Dickie left last year.
