A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a Lake District collision.
Emergency services were called to the A591 at Thirlmere yesterday, Wednesday March 11, at around 11.40am.
The incident involved one vehicle – the motorbike.
The motorcyclist, a man aged 37, was taken to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough with serious injuries.
He remains in a critical condition today.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, referring to incident 84 of March 11.
