A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a collision on Hartside Pass.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A686, between Melmerby and the pass’ summit, near the junction for Renwick, on Wednesday at around 12.10pm.
The collision involved a white Citroen C3 and a green Honda motorcycle.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
