
Four days of roadworks are set to start in a West Cumbrian village next week.
DSD Construction Ltd will move into Low Lorton to start work on the B5289 at Low Lorton, near Cockermouth, from next Tuesday, April 7.
Work will include network and drainage repairs and the reinstatement of road markings.
The work will be completed under a formal road closure.
Full access will be available for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists.
Waste and recycling collections will go ahead as usual, while updates about temporary bus stop relocations will be posted at affected stops.
