A lane of the M6 is closed due to a defect.
National Highways said the southbound lane was between Junction 39 at Shap and Junction 38, is closed and there are delays of up to 50 minutes today, Friday April 10 at around 1.50pm.
Crews are on the scene to repair the defect.
