
Work will start on resurfacing of a section of the A595 in West Cumbria from today.
National Highways said it will be working from today, Monday, April 13 to Friday, June 26 from West Lakes Science Park, near Moor Row, to Clints roundabout in Egremont.
It will be resurfacing the road from the West Lakes junction to Clints Brow and renewing road markings between Clints Brow and Clints roundabout.
Workers will be on site between 7pm to 6am Monday to Friday, with the possibility of some weekend working.
It said when work was being carried out in Bigrigg, workers would aim to complete all noisy activities by 11pm.
A 40mph speed limit will be in place and temporary traffic lights will operate.
A convoy system will escort road users through the work and side road closures and local diversions may be needed at times.
