
A bike has been seized – and is likely to be destroyed – after reports of anti-social riding on a South Cumbrian common.
Furness Police said officers had received reports about anti-social behaviour involving mopeds, e-bikes, and off-road bikes in the Birkrigg Common area.
it said they had attended and carried out enquiries.
Furness Police added: “As a result, one bike believed to be linked to these incidents was located and seized.
“Our investigations into similar reports is ongoing, and it’s likely the seized bike will be destroyed.
“We understand the impact this type of behaviour can have on the community, and we remain committed to tackling it. Your information really does make a difference — if you witness similar incidents, please continue to report them to us.”
