The first phase of a Barrow family centre’s revamp has been completed.
Work has been carried out at Ormsgill Family Centre, part of a wider improvement project for the site.
The building has been upgraded by Westmorland & Furness Council including new heating and electrical systems, plus improved safeguarding and security measures.
It was funded through the council’s capital programme.
The second phase of the project will see a neighbouring vacant building demolished and replaced with a new cushioned outdoor play space.
