A road in a West Cumbrian village is due to be closed for up to seven days for resurfacing.
Cumberland Council is set to carry out the project on the C2016 West End/Camerton Road in Great Broughton from Monday July 27.
A road closure will be in place throughout the project, with access for residents limited during the working hours of 7.30am to 6pm.
Traffic marshals will be on site to facilitate access to properties where it is safe to do so.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Pedestrians and cyclists will continue to have access through the site and will be escorted safely by traffic marshals where required.
Waste and recycling collections will continue as normal.
