
A person was airlifted to hospital following a collision in West Cumbria on Sunday.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service said it was called at around 6.35pm to the incident at Seascale.
Its helicopter arrived at around 7pm and its team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient and airlifted them to hospital.
Earlier that day, Sunday May 3, the service was called to Buttermere to a medical incident.
The team were called at around 2.35pm and airlifted the casualty to hospital.
They were two of eight incidents in Cumbria that the Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to from Saturday, May 2, to yesterday, Monday May 4.
