
A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a collision in Sedbergh.
Emergency services were called to the A683 at Straight Bridge, on the outskirts of the town, yesterday, Sunday May 24.
The incident involved a single motorbike.
The biker was airlifted by the Great North Air Ambulance and it is understood they were taken to the Royal Preston Hospital.
The road was closed for a time following the collision at around 4pm but reopened to traffic a short while later.
