
A north Cumbrian road will close for 10 days for work to be carried out.
The C1012 between Heathersgill and Boltonfellend, near Carlisle, will be closed from Monday, June 1.
The road will be closed from Rigghead Cottage, Heathersgill to Boltonfellend.
Working hours will be between 8am and 4pm each day.
The work is expected to last forĀ 10 working days, subject to weather conditions and site requirements.
A signed diversion route will be in place.
During the work, access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists and waste collections and school transport services will continue as normal.
