Cumbria Women travel to Sussex this weekend for their Gill Burns County Championship semi-final.
They make the long trek south on Saturday for Sunday’s game at the Horsham club.
Sussex clinched qualification from a tight group with a 22-17 win over Middlesex at the weekend.
Cumbria were already through after big wins over Leicestershire and Oxfordshire.
Head coach Ally Ratcliffe has had decisions to make after using a number of new faces for the second game when the Keswick players were not available because of the club being involved in a final.
She said: “We have the Keswick players back and it’s going tom be a mix really of the sides who played in the two games.
“We have a couple who knew before the tournament started that they wouldn’t be available this weekend.
“We haven’t been able to obtain any footage of Sussex in action but we are really concentrating on our own game.
“We have a lot of talent in the squad and I am looking forward to seeing how they perform on a big stage like this with an appearance at Twickenham as the surprise.”
Gloucestershire play Middlesex in the other semi-final with the Twickenham final next Sunday, June 7.
You can hear coach Ally Ratcliffe talking below about the game and the latest developments in their search for funding for the long trip and overnight stay:
