A mini-earthquake has been felt in Morecambe Bay.
The British Geological Survey said the earthquake, with a magnitude of 2.2 and at a a depth of 3km, happened at 9.35pm in Silverdale, Lancashire.
It has released preliminary information about the quake and said reports described as a big thud, like a distant explosion, and a burst of noise.
