Six people attacked in Carlisle park by man and teen

Six people have been attacked in a Carlisle park.

Police are investigating the incident in Bitts Park, which happened at around 4pm on May 24.

Officers said the group of six men and women were assaulted by two people, causing ABH level injuries.

One man has been described as a black man, around 5ft 8in, wearing a full black Nike tracksuit with his hood up.

He was of a larger build and was around 16 years old.

The second man was described as a white man of around 5ft 11in.

He did not have a top on but was wearing black shorts, had blond hair with a blemished face and had a skinny build.

They were then joined by a group of around five further men.

It has been reported that members of the public came to the assistance of the victims.
