A Lake District hotel has been given a top accolade by review platform Tripadvisor.
Cedar Manor in Windermere has been named a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best winner for 2026.
It has been ranked at number 10 for luxury hotels in the UK and 13th for small and boutique hotels in the UK.
The title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel. It’s awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period.
Out of eight million listings, fewer than 1% achieve the milestone.
Caroline and Jonathan Kaye, who run the hotel, said: “We would like to thank your staff who have helped make this a possibility.
“We are honoured to be included among travellers’ favourites this year.
“Travellers’ Choice is one of the most recognised and coveted awards in the travel space, so it is very valuable to us.”
