
The semi-final dates for the Cumbria League’s Higson Cup have been announced with three of the current top four involved.
The only exception is Workington, who are fifth in the table at the moment, and they have a home draw with Furness and the tie will be played on Sunday, July 5.
The other semi-final will be played a fortnight later on July 19 with holders Cockermouth hosting Whitehaven – the two meeting at the Playground in the league tomorrow.
The semi-finals of the Sowerby Cup will both be played on Saturday, July 4 – Caldbeck v Lanercost and Wetheral v Whitehaven 2nds.
