
A section of the M6 in Cumbria will be closed later this week.
National Highways said the motorway will be closed northbound from Junction 40 at Penrith to Junction 41 at Catterlen from 9pm on Thursday, June 25 until 6am on Friday June 26.
Work will be carried out to replace faults in road vehicle detection sensors.
One lane northbound and southbound from Junction 39 at Shap to Junction 40 will also be closed from 10pm on Thursday until 6am on Friday for structural maintenance work and rail bridge replacement.
