A woman in her 50s has been significantly injured in an assault on a Barrow street.
The incident happened on June 14 at around 11.25pm on Hibbert Road.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Officers said the suspect was wearing a black hoodie and had their hood up.
They were also alleged to be wearing a black face covering on the lower half of their face.
After the incident, the suspect ran towards Settle Street, Barrow.
Police are investigating the incident and are encouraging anyone who witnessed the assault or the moments leading up to it, or anyone who has any potential CCTV which may be of assistance to come forward. Call 101.
