Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland has unveiled a new website and refreshed brand identity.
The transformation has been made possible thanks to grant funding and support from H&H Reeds.
The charity said the project was undertaken to address a challenge that has emerged over the years, with Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland often being confused with other hospice care providers.
Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland provides hospice care in people’s own homes, helping patients with life-limiting illnesses receive compassionate, expert care in north and east Cumbria.
The refreshed identity has been carefully designed to better communicate this important distinction.
It said softer, more contemporary colours had been introduced to create a modern and welcoming feel while helping the charity stand apart from other organisations within the hospice sector.
It said: “At the heart of the new identity is a logo that combines three meaningful elements: a home, a heart, and the charity’s much-loved sunflower.
“Together, these symbols represent the essence of Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland’s mission – providing compassionate care and support to individuals and their families during one of life’s most challenging times.

“Our vision, mission, and values guide everything we do, ensuring that every person we care for receives the highest quality of care, respect, and dignity.”
The new branding is accompanied by the message Home is Where the Heart Is.
To bring the vision to life, Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland partnered with H&H Reeds, charity partners of Hospice UK. T
Debbie McKenna, chief executive officer of Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the team at Reeds for their support, expertise and guidance throughout this journey.
“Their understanding of hospice care helped ensure that our new identity truly reflects who we are and the care we provide to our communities.”
The charity’s new website has been designed to make it easier than ever for patients, families, healthcare professionals, supporters and volunteers to find the information they need.
Visitors can learn more about the services available, keep up to date with fundraising events, sponsorship opportunities, corporate partnerships, volunteering opportunities and the many ways they can support the charity’s work.
